"S" on my chest: from Superwoman to Scarlet letter to Seriously curious. (video)

A little reflecting on being an Executive Director and being told I had an “S” on my chest- to now feeling like I’m wearing a Scarlet letter. And wondering about deep listening, belonging, and inauthenticity. Looking for others who have or are grappling with the same.

Earlier today, I was in my feels and opened up my laptop to write some reflections. As I started typing feelings associated to remembering how I was once told that I have an “S” on my chest, I had a bit of an “aha” moment. Or maybe less aha, and more hmmmm? Everything I wanna share at this point is within the video. (and yes. I am aware that the Scarlet Letter is actually an “A” but it’s less alliterative, ok??)

I would love to hear from folks who have grappled with similar thoughts and feels.
